She said she just doesn\u2019t do it anymore\u2026she asked me to pray for her.<\/h6>\n<h6>I prayed, and as I prayed, I sensed an overwhelming love for her, a love that Jesus has for her and I told her, \u201cGod loves you so much.\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>She looked at me and said, \u201cHow do you know? How do you know God loves you?\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>I looked at her with all the love and compassion I could give and said, \u201cHe died for you\u2026he loves you so much he gave his life for you. That\u2019s how I know.\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>How do you know Jesus loves you?<\/h6>\n<h6>I can only tell you what he\u2019s done for me\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>When I was growing up I felt unloved, abandoned, afraid of everything\u2026I grew up with lots of insecurities and fear. Relationships were strained and difficult. I didn\u2019t know why\u2026I just figured I wasn\u2019t worth much and my broken home must have been because of me. I was just a child\u2026we were poor and didn\u2019t think about counselors in those days\u2026we all just got through it the best we could\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I asked Jesus to come into my heart at an early age but I didn\u2019t really understand what all that meant\u2026I mean, I knew that something had happened in my heart\u2026I knew I wanted this love Jesus was offering\u2026but I didn\u2019t fully understand, until I was much older and had gone through many trials\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>We all have questions and doubts and fears\u2026things unknown that we are not certain of, people hurt us\u2026we hurt people\u2026but when I began to surrender my life, my will, my emotions, my strength, to the one who held all the answers\u2026when I humbled myself and truly fell in love with Jesus\u2026I began to hear the Holy Spirit say, \u201cJesus loves you.\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>How? How can he love me? I\u2019m a, nobody, with nothing to offer anyone\u2026I don\u2019t\u2019 have a college degree\u2026I don\u2019t have money\u2026or prestige\u2026I\u2019m a, nobody, but I learned that\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>\u201cJesus died for me, and He makes me, a, somebody, in Him\u2026and you have everything to offer because of Him\u2026\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>It\u2019s so simple\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>It\u2019s not a bunch of rules and regulations with Jesus\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>He doesn\u2019t put chains and yokes on you\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>He breaks chains and says, His yoke is easy and His burden is light\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>How do I know Jesus loves me?<\/h6>\n<h6>His Spirit lives inside of me\u2026He takes all my fears and doubts away\u2026He said my grace is sufficient for you\u2026He says, I give you peace\u2026come walk with me.<\/h6>\n<h6>When I\u2019m sick he heals me and holds me in the midst of every trial and because he has helped me over and over again\u2026I trust in Him\u2026I trust Him with my life and the life of my children\u2026no matter what!<\/h6>\n<h6>Throughout my life he has proven that He loves me. When I couldn\u2019t love myself, when I couldn\u2019t love others, when all I wanted to do was run and hide, even thoughts of taking my life\u2026He put people in my life that showed me I could survive and thrive\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>When death came to loved ones\u2026He carried me\u2026and dried my tears\u2026he comforted me and walked me all the way through it\u2026even to this day.<\/h6>\n<h6>When people talked about me behind my back and laughed at me and thought I\u2019d never amount to anything\u2026Jesus loved me through it all\u2026He said, for every heartache I give you joy\u2026for every failure I\u2019ll raise you up\u2026for all the stones thrown I\u2019ll build you a home\u2026keep your eyes on me.<\/h6>\n<h6>I found in His book of love\u2026the story of His life and I fell in love with him\u2026because He loved me first\u2026He is my first love\u2026and nothing or no one can ever take that away from me.<\/h6>\n<h6>Oh how he loves me\u2026Oh how he loves you\u2026if you will open your heart and have faith in Him\u2026he will walk on water to show you just how very much he loves you\u2026He\u2019ll take you all the way to Calvary, show you his wounds, how he was persecuted, humiliated, and hung on a cross, to show you just how much he loves you\u2026He did all that for you and me.<\/h6>\n<h6>I didn\u2019t have a daddy growing up\u2026but I have a Papa who has been my daddy, my savior, my best friend\u2026he\u2019s never lied to me\u2026he\u2019s never cheated on me\u2026never abandoned me, never beaten me, he\u2019s given me a home and family that is more than I could ever imagine\u2026he has blessed me and given me favor\u2026he gives me hope and life\u2026How do I know He loves me\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I know\u2026because He said so; in his word and he showed me by forgiving me and setting my feet on a solid foundation\u2026<em>For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever (you\/me) believes in Him will never perish but have everlasting life. <strong>John 3:16 (He will do the same for you too if you will ask him!)<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n<h6>He loves you so very much!!!<\/h6>\n<h6>I learned a little song when I was just a girl\u2026that says\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so, little ones to him belong, they are weak but He is strong\u2026Yes, Jesus love me\u2026Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me\u2026the Bible tells me so\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>And I am telling you today\u2026Jesus loves you!!!<\/h6>\n<h6>~Marla Shaw O\u2019Neill May 17, 2018<\/h6>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/owx3ao42kwI?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<h6><strong><em>Proverbs 3:3-5 King James Version (KJV) <\/em><\/strong><em>Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><strong><em>1 John 4:16<\/em><em> King James Version (KJV) <\/em><\/strong><em>And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn\u2019t know the first thing about God, because God is love\u2014so you can\u2019t know him if you don\u2019t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him.
