The Path<\/u><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0The broad path, is the one I chose early in my life…<\/div>\n
Careless times of living, not giving heed to what lay ahead,<\/div>\n
this was the\u00a0road I traveled full of misery and strife…<\/div>\n
Anger, deceit, and treachery, companions they became<\/div>\n
Lawless, reckless, destitute, these were my middle name\u2026…<\/div>\n
Then something strange happened to me, I can’t begin to explain<\/div>\n
But this much, I can tell you, I never was the same,<\/div>\n
I changed\u2026<\/div>\n
A faith woman, came to town one day,<\/div>\n
She preached a little sermon, about the straight and narrow way…<\/div>\n
Broad is the road that leads to destruction, hear this story, she wailed\u2026<\/div>\n
Narrow is the road that will lead you away from Hell\u2026<\/div>\n
Where gnashing of teeth is heard and the worm never dies,<\/div>\n
Listen to me, Oh sinner hear me; she cried\u2026<\/div>\n
Get off the road your walking, let Jesus be your guide<\/div>\n
Follow in His footsteps they lead to eternal life!<\/div>\n
I cried to her in anguish…<\/div>\n
I’m a wretched, poor, lost sinner\u2026not worthy of anything but death<\/div>\n
She laughed and shouted, \u201cThat\u2019s perfect, you\u2019re the one he\u2019s been looking for<\/div>\n
A little lost lamb he came to save, he\u2019s knocking at your hearts door\u2026\u201d<\/div>\n
Tears that flow like a river ran down my face that day<\/div>\n
I\u2019ve never been the same since, now, I\u2019m\u00a0on the narrow way\u2026<\/div>\n
There is a way that seems right to man, but the ends thereof are death\u2026<\/div>\n
On the narrow path you\u2019ll meet the one where wonders never cease\u2026<\/div>\n
You\u2019ll lie down and sleep in his embrace where there\u2019s perfect love and peace\u2026<\/div>\n
I\u2019ve come to know what true life, is really all about\u2026<\/div>\n
on this less traveled, narrow path…<\/div>\n
I\u2019ll live and laugh and shout…<\/div>\n
Broad, is the pathway, that will take you straight to Hell\u2026<\/div>\n
Narrow, is the pathway,\u00a0walking\u00a0with Jesus, he’ll\u00a0show you the way out!<\/div>\n
