{"id":2303,"date":"2018-04-03T13:08:48","date_gmt":"2018-04-03T18:08:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/?p=2303"},"modified":"2018-04-03T13:09:17","modified_gmt":"2018-04-03T18:09:17","slug":"what-does-god-want","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/index.php\/2018\/04\/03\/what-does-god-want\/","title":{"rendered":"What Does God Want"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6><\/h6>\n<h6><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2305\" src=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Cluttered-heart-268x300-268x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"268\" height=\"300\" \/><\/h6>\n<h6>What does God want\u2026?<\/h6>\n<h6>He wants your heart.<\/h6>\n<h6>We hold on tight to things of this life<\/h6>\n<h6>Not realizing it takes up all the room<\/h6>\n<h6>Crammed into each crevice we save<\/h6>\n<h6>Bitterness, unforgiveness<\/h6>\n<h6>And a whole lot of strife.<\/h6>\n<h6>Piled from ceiling to floor<\/h6>\n<h6>If you wanted to, you couldn\u2019t open the door<\/h6>\n<h6>Your heart is stuffed and you just can\u2019t take anymore\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Pages and pages of hate and hurt are stored\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Within the place where love was once explored<\/h6>\n<h6>It\u2019s too overwhelming to think about<\/h6>\n<h6>Too much clutter, broken promises and unkind words<\/h6>\n<h6>I\u2019m to numb for even the faintest hope\u2026no one cared, no one heard\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>The cries when I needed them too\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Now it\u2019s too late and there\u2019s nothing else to do\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Can\u2019t think about doing what\u2019s right\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Keep the door closed and locked up tight<\/h6>\n<h6>What does God want\u2026?<\/h6>\n<h6>I have no clue\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I can\u2019t be bothered by the likes of you\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Just let me live in my hoarder\u2019s nest\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>There\u2019s nothing left, there is no rest\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I\u2019ve failed and will never pass the test\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Besides, I tried once; I gave it my best\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6>The cleaning lady has come to call\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>She\u2019s heard your cry and that\u2019s not all\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>She\u2019s come to carry out all the trash<\/h6>\n<h6>Someone prayed for you today\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>They\u2019ve been praying all these years<\/h6>\n<h6>They\u2019ve cried many, many tears<\/h6>\n<h6>For you to overcome all your fears\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>The stacks of bitterness, and unforgivess and strife,<\/h6>\n<h6>Can all be erased for the rest of your life<\/h6>\n<h6>If you, will give God, your heart<\/h6>\n<h6>He\u2019ll send in His Holy Fire<\/h6>\n<h6>With cleansing power<\/h6>\n<h6>This very hour<\/h6>\n<h6>The door will open and He\u2019ll come inside<\/h6>\n<h6>There will be no more clutter,<\/h6>\n<h6>The door\u00a0will open\u00a0wide\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6>Standing on the seashore wanting to end it all<\/h6>\n<h6>A\u00a0still, small, voice, begins to call\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6>What does God want\u2026?<\/h6>\n<h6>He wants your heart\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6>Tears streaming, this cluttered\u00a0heart cries out&#8230;<\/h6>\n<h6>Lord, I\u2019ve been blind and afraid<\/h6>\n<h6>But right now today\u2026I want to give my heart away<\/h6>\n<h6>Here it is God, I\u2019m yours now and\u00a0always!<\/h6>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6>In an instant, the room of his heart, is completely emptied<\/h6>\n<h6>Where clutter once jammed the darkened place,<\/h6>\n<h6>Now Love and Joy and Peace<\/h6>\n<h6>Are found\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>A new song, a new sound, is sung by angel\u2019s rejoicing\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>My child\u2019s no longer bound.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: right;\">~Marla Shaw O\u2019Neill April 3, 2018<\/h6>\n<h6><strong><em>Romans 10:8-10<\/em><em> New King James Version (NKJV) <\/em><\/strong><em>But what does it say? <\/em><em>\u201cThe word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart\u201d<\/em><em> (that is, the word of faith which we preach): <\/em><em>that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
