Where light and hope and faith once permeated the room<\/h6>\n
Now only darkness surrounds the place and fills it with gloom<\/h6>\n
No love songs, no truth, no life, just doom<\/h6>\n
Self, has taken God\u2019s seat,<\/h6>\n
I am heir to the throne<\/h6>\n
Sitting where only God belongs\u2026<\/h6>\n
I am\u2026<\/h6>\n
Ruling my kingdom with pride and arrogance<\/h6>\n
I take the place of King and no longer joyfully dance\u2026<\/h6>\n
To life\u2019s sweet love-song, for self has taken over, it\u2019s now my chance<\/h6>\n
To reign<\/h6>\n
You see, the chair, was no longer mine\u2026<\/h6>\n
I gave it up long ago, but something went terribly wrong\u2026<\/h6>\n
Thinking I can rule better than He<\/h6>\n
I took the seat; no longer intended for me\u2026<\/h6>\n
Then everything began to crumble, and ole self must humble<\/h6>\n
Himself before the rightful King\u2026<\/h6>\n
Self must bow or suffer the cost<\/h6>\n
Of death and pain and total loss<\/h6>\n
\u201cYou see child you\u2019re sitting in my seat\u2026<\/h6>\n
There\u2019s only room enough for one King<\/h6>\n
It\u2019s either you or me\u2026<\/h6>\n
If you take my seat your life will end in bitterness and defeat<\/h6>\n
But if you allow me to govern your life, if you will live in righteousness<\/h6>\n
And truth, without hatred and strife<\/h6>\n
Then you will see hope and not disaster<\/h6>\n
Grace and not tyranny<\/h6>\n
Faith and not doubt<\/h6>\n
Love that never fails<\/h6>\n
Life and not death<\/h6>\n
Joy and not despair<\/h6>\n
Thanksgiving and not lack<\/h6>\n
Forgiveness and not revenge\u2026<\/h6>\n
For only then will you see…<\/h6>\n
Victory in the kingdom of your heart<\/h6>\n
Stop sitting in my seat\u2026<\/h6>\n
Let us come together and meet on Holy ground,<\/h6>\n
And as we eat the goodness of the land<\/h6>\n
Our fellowship will be sweet\u2026<\/h6>\n
Remember, I am the Lord your God<\/h6>\n
I have redeemed you and adopted you to be an heir and joint heir<\/h6>\n
But never forget, I am King!<\/h6>\n
Anger works not the righteousness of God\u2026\u201d<\/h6>\n

Lord in humility and with deep repentance<\/h6>\n
Bowing before your Majesty<\/h6>\n
You have full authority<\/h6>\n
Please take your seat on the throne of my heart<\/h6>\n
Restore the joy of your salvation<\/h6>\n
I recognize that with me as Lord and Master<\/h6>\n
My life\u2019s a total disaster\u2026<\/h6>\n
There is only room enough for one to sit upon the throne room of the heart<\/h6>\n
It\u2019s too big for me, pride kept me there, but love made me see<\/h6>\n
This chair was built for thee!<\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
Crowned in Splendor and draped in glory\u2026<\/h6>\n
God sits on the throne and tells a story\u2026<\/h6>\n
\u201cIf you sit in my chair you will never know<\/h6>\n
The beginning of grace and how I bestow<\/h6>\n
Blessings to my child who gives up their seat<\/h6>\n
So that I may sit down and make them complete\u2026<\/h6>\n
Stop trying to be lord of your life my child\u2026<\/h6>\n
Sit down with me and let\u2019s talk a while\u2026<\/h6>\n
The things I have prepared for you; are far greater than anything you could do\u2026<\/h6>\n
I will not go against your will<\/h6>\n
If you are willing now,<\/h6>\n
