They came from ancient times<\/h6>\n
Scribes who gave their lives\u2026<\/h6>\n
Writing by candlelight\u2026the sacred holy words<\/em><\/h6>\n
Inscribed\u2026<\/h6>\n
On scrolls they wrote the story<\/h6>\n
Each jot and tittle declaring God\u2019s glory<\/h6>\n
Writing day and night, taking care that all is right…<\/h6>\n
Passed down through earth\u2019s history<\/h6>\n
Words of mystery<\/h6>\n
Proclaiming life in the Light\u2026<\/h6>\n
Inspired by the Holy Ghost, they wrote what they heard,<\/h6>\n
These writers of the Word!<\/h6>\n
You are the chosen\u2026<\/h6>\n
Hand-picked by the Living Holy God\u2026<\/h6>\n
To live and breathe and write your songs, and psalms, of Spirit\u2019s life<\/h6>\n
Death and despair, struggles and strife\u2026<\/h6>\n
Will all fade away as you sit and write\u2026God\u2019s words they cut like a knife\u2026<\/h6>\n
Cutting away, sins decay,\u00a0in the heart of those who will dare to\u00a0obey<\/h6>\n
The words you\u00a0write today\u2026<\/h6>\n
We are writers of the Anointed One<\/h6>\n
Never stop, or give up, or think it\u2019s a waste of time\u2026<\/h6>\n
The ancient\u2019s are cheering you on\u2026<\/h6>\n
