News and birthdays everyday\u2026<\/h6>\n
Reading comments along the way\u2026<\/h6>\n
Memes and babies and fashion too<\/h6>\n
Why the whole world is watching all we do\u2026<\/h6>\n
Perfect hair and smile and family\u2026<\/h6>\n
If only they could see what you really think\u2026<\/h6>\n
But this virtual world would surely stink<\/h6>\n
If they really saw, this ship would sink\u2026<\/h6>\n
It\u2019s here to stay there\u2019s no taking it away\u2026<\/h6>\n
We can\u2019t live without our fix\u2026<\/h6>\n
Minutes become hours changing covers and pics\u2026<\/h6>\n
We are bound to the screens in all the mix\u2026<\/h6>\n

We are hooked as we scroll and look<\/h6>\n
At the mesmerizing scenes on this thing called Facebook,\u00a0and more,\u00a0Oh my…<\/em><\/h6>\n
Real people we\u2019ve never met<\/h6>\n
Have become close family and friends<\/h6>\n
Notifications some must be\u00a0blocked<\/h6>\n
Over and over and over again<\/h6>\n
Who would have ever dreamed?<\/h6>\n
That looking at a screen<\/h6>\n
Could bring<\/h6>\n
This kind of thing<\/h6>\n
Into being\u2026.<\/h6>\n
Gifs, emoji, emoticons, emotions shown without using words<\/h6>\n
We laugh and cry before our screens; craziest things we\u2019ve never heard<\/h6>\n
We are the zombie generation\u2026It\u2019s the Real Thing<\/em>\u2026<\/h6>\n
Devouring, overpowering, just try to quit and you will see\u2026<\/h6>\n
It will go on without you or me\u2026<\/h6>\n
It sucks you back in with its empowering wit<\/h6>\n
It\u2019s got cha\u2026and there\u2019s nothing you can do<\/h6>\n
Not one, little, bit\u2026<\/h6>\n
This thing called the internet\u2026<\/h6>\n
