There\u2019s an explanation at the end.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<h6>You are my <em>little cherub, <\/em>to kiss and hug so tight<\/h6>\n<h6>We\u2019ll say our prayers and then, I\u2019ll tuck you in at night.<\/h6>\n<h6>Throughout your years of growing<\/h6>\n<h6>My <em>little cherub<\/em> you will be<\/h6>\n<h6>An angel sent from heaven. God only loaned you to me,<\/h6>\n<h6>To rock, and hold, and love, and guide you on your way<\/h6>\n<h6><em>Little Cherub,<\/em> you\u2019re a blessing; in my heart is where you\u2019ll stay.<\/h6>\n<h6>The cherubim in heaven surround God\u2019s holy throne<\/h6>\n<h6>Angels of protection, they sing a holy song~<\/h6>\n<h6>You were chosen by the Father to be my cherub here\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Singing songs of Jesus draws the angels near.<\/h6>\n<h6>When you&#8217;re tired and lonely and I\u2019m not around to see~<\/h6>\n<h6>Sing Holy, holy, holy, around God\u2019s throne you\u2019ll be~<\/h6>\n<h6>Joined by seraphim and cherubim a choir of jubilee\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Take heart <em>little cherub<\/em> sing a song for me&#8230;<\/h6>\n<h6>Your journey will be long\u2026.<\/h6>\n<h6>Be Strong~<\/h6>\n<h6><em>Little cherub, <\/em>heaven\u2019s where you belong.<\/h6>\n<h6>But before you leave your mission, of interceding on man\u2019s behalf<\/h6>\n<h6>Remember <em>little cherub<\/em> to sing and dance and laugh~<\/h6>\n<h6>You are <em>my little <span style=\"font-size: 21.26px;\">cherub;<\/span>\u00a0<\/em>I cherish you with all my heart~<\/h6>\n<h6>You have a story to live and share even though, I won&#8217;t, be there.<\/h6>\n<h6>Your journey will be grand&#8230;<\/h6>\n<h6>I\u2019ve given you wings to soar, you&#8217;ll testify too, that on the solid rock you stand, anointed by the Holy Ghost, hold onto the Master\u2019s hand\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>He\u2019ll lead you where you are needed most\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>And when all is said and done\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Heaven\u2019s gates will open wide<\/h6>\n<h6>Welcome home, come on inside\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6><em>Little cherub<\/em> you are mine\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I watch you sleep, sweet darl&#8217;n dear, I whisper a tender prayer\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6><em>Keep her Jesus, all of her days, to know it&#8217;s in your time,<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>That cherub&#8217;s come to sing and bring, praises, to the King of kings.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Let her live all of her days, to give you, holy praise! <\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Then in your time, Jesus, bring her to the throne. <\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Knowing that for all eternity, heaven is her home.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: right;\">~Marla Shaw O\u2019Neill December 30, 2017<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: right;\">Edited January 26, 2022<\/h6>\n<h6>A few days ago, as I was reading, I came across some information regarding cherubim, angels of God. I remembered that when I was a little girl my mom would call me, <em>her little cherub. <\/em>I had not thought about that in many years. But remembering it brought tears to my eyes. The endearing name, cherub, took on a whole new meaning for me.<\/h6>\n<h6>I did a little research, and this is something I found.<\/h6>\n<h6><em><b>In the Book of Enoch, the cherubim, seraphim, and ophannim (wheels), and all the angels of power constitute the &#8220;host of God,&#8221; the guardians of His throne, the singers of praise ascribing blessedness to &#8220;the Lord of Spirits,&#8221; with the archangel Gabriel at their head (see <\/b><a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudytools.com\/search\/?q=isa+61:10;\">Isaiah 61:10;<\/a><b>). And <\/b><span style=\"font-size: 21.26px;\"><b>so,<\/b><\/span><b>\u00a0in the Jewish daily liturgy the seraphim, ophannim, and &#8220;living creatures&#8221; <\/b><u style=\"font-weight: bold;\">constitute the heavenly choir <\/u><b>who, the elect ministers of the Living God, ready to do the will of their maker with trembling, intone in sweet harmony the Thrice-holy.<\/b><\/em> In the Talmud, the cherubim are represented as having the likeness of youths.<\/h6>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">From what I read and there is so much to read, these cherubim and seraphim are powerful and very important to God and his purposes. Our minds can hardly comprehend all\u00a0that God is. All I know is I\u2019m glad he knows me, and I know him, and I am one of his children.
