And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0 <\/em><br \/>\nFather of the Prodigal\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Every day I stand at the window and watch\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Looking for my son, and wonder&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Is he alive? Is he well? Will he ever come home?<\/p>\n<p>For ten long years I\u2019ve waited and watched<br \/>\nIs he lost to me forever\u2026<br \/>\nI will never give up hope\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod wherever my boy is, whatever he has done, protect him, bring him to the end of himself, and bring him home.\u201d Amen.<\/p>\n<p>It is dusk, the sun is setting. A gentle wind blows the wild flowers in the field\u2026standing at the gate looking out to the east\u2026a bent, dark figure approaches\u2026He\u2019s leaning on a staff, limping as he makes his way over the rocky path\u2026rags cover his body, dust covers his feet.<\/p>\n<p>I squint to see in the distance someone, a man walking\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Can it be\u2026? Is it him\u2026?<\/p>\n<p>My heart begins to pump faster, strength enters my body and joy floods my soul\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It is\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>It\u2019s my son\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Darting out across the field\u2026In a full run, I grab him and kiss him\u2026the stench is ignored \u2026 he\u2019s thin and dirty\u2026that does not matter\u2026My son! My son&#8230;has come home!<\/p>\n<p>Thank God, thank God, it\u2019s you\u2026<\/p>\n<p>God loves us with an everlasting love and rejoices when one of his children was lost then returns to him.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s a good, good father!<\/h6>\n<h6>He watches everyday, waiting\u00a0for you to come home.<\/h6>\n<h6><em><span id=\"en-ESV-25604\" class=\"text Luke-15-24\"><span class=\"woj\"><span id=\"en-ESV-25600\" class=\"text Luke-15-20\">And he arose and came to his father.
