We met a lady yesterday at the Friendly\u2019s restaurant in Wellington, her name is Miss Annie\u2026she was a sweetheart.\u00a0She served us, not only our food but she blessed us\u2026She said she always says, \u201cMerry Christmas and God bless you when her customer\u2019s come in and when they leave. One of her customers was offended that she would say that to them\u2026and they called, her boss\u2026<\/h3>\n

Her boss\u00a0said, \u201cSir if you don\u2019t like it you can leave\u2026she\u2019s staying.\u201d<\/h3>\n

Miss Annie said that\u00a0her son was the pastor,\u00a0of Life Church in Oklahoma\u2026but, she has to get to heaven on her own\u2026<\/span><\/h3>\n
\n

Then she said, \u201cYou see those four ladies sitting over there?\u201d We said, \u201cYes.\u201d She said they are the Baptist ladies group. Then she said, \u201cFifteen years ago I served them and they all had their husbands with them, now their husbands are all gone.\u201d<\/h3>\n

That really hit me in my heart\u2026the realization that one day some of us are not going to be here\u2026of course we all know that\u2026we all have loved ones who aren\u2019t with us physically anymore\u2026<\/h3>\n

We miss them and wish they could be here\u2026they\u2019re in our hearts and memories\u2026<\/h3>\n

But think about this\u2026<\/h3>\n

Each day, God gives us the opportunity to wake up, be kind, be thankful, be together, and share time with each other\u2026<\/h3>\n

We get busy in our tasks and complacent in our lives\u2026but sometimes\u2026when we least expect it\u2026God puts a Miss Annie in our path\u2026and we are awakened to reality\u2026<\/h3>\n

Take some time today\u2026and be grateful for who it is that\u2019s in your life\u2026don\u2019t criticize or wish for something different\u2026and if you don\u2019t have anyone in your life to share a moment with\u2026think about this\u2026God is always with you\u2026.be grateful for Him\u2026he loves you so much!!<\/h3>\n

This season is a time of reflecting and rushing about with a lot of stress\u2026but just breathe\u2026and if the traffic gets too much for you\u2026or the lines are too long\u2026or you feel sad and depressed\u2026or the snow is deep and the car won\u2019t start\u2026remember Miss Annie and what she says\u2026”Merry Christmas and God bless you!!”<\/h3>\n
