After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter,<\/h5>\n
\u201cSimon son of John, do you love me more than these?\u201d<\/h5>\n
\u201cYes, Lord,\u201d Peter replied, \u201cyou know I love you.\u201d<\/h5>\n
\u201cThen feed my lambs,\u201d Jesus told him.<\/h5>\n

How much do you love, Jesus?<\/h5>\n
Believer, if Jesus was sitting at your breakfast table and you had just finished eating, and he looked at you and asked, \u201cDo you love me?\u201d<\/h5>\n
What would you say?<\/h5>\n
Would you feel uncomfortable, put on the spot, would you hesitate and wonder where he was going with that question?<\/h5>\n
Or would you without hesitation, give an emphatic, \u201cYes, Lord, you know I love you.\u201d<\/h5>\n
Jesus is with you each and every day\u2026whether it is at breakfast or on the go\u2026He is there and he\u2019s asking\u2026 “Do you love me?\u201d<\/h5>\n
He knew Peter and he knew Peter\u2019s heart. He knew Peter loved him\u2026but he wanted to hear Peter say it. Jesus knew that in just a few hours, Peter would deny him. He also knew that when Peter realized what he had done and repented that He would indeed feed his lambs, care for his sheep and would love him to the point of death.<\/h5>\n
Love is in the air\u2026well at least the pagan celebration of Love\u2026Valentine\u2019s Day\u2026 commercial ads, candy, drawings and cards of big red hearts and gifts of flowers\u2026sweetheart\u2019s scurry around for tokens to be given once a year to show how much everyone is loved.<\/h5>\n
Well not everyone\u2026there are the ones who are lonely and alone\u2026lost lambs so to speak who feel as though no one in the world loves them\u2026<\/h5>\n
Why am I saying this\u2026<\/h5>\n
Well because it\u2019s Valentine\u2019s Day of course.<\/h5>\n
Every year, year in and year out\u2026the \u201choly days\u201d are celebrated.<\/h5>\n
Am I being cynical? Maybe, just a little.<\/h5>\n
Oh yeah back at the table, Jesus said, \u201cPeter, do you love me?\u201d<\/h5>\n
Peter replies, \u201cYes Lord, you know I love you.\u201d<\/h5>\n
Jesus said, \u201cThen feed my lambs.\u201d<\/h5>\n
Three times Jesus asked Peter the same question. He was trying to get a point across.<\/h5>\n
If you really, really, really love me then do what I have asked you do.<\/h5>\n
Jesus is saying the same thing to you and to me today\u2026\u201dIf you really, love, me. Do what I\u2019ve asked you to do. Follow me.\u201d<\/h5>\n
