I\u2019m no saint, never claimed to be and never will be. I\u2019ve fallen down many times but thank God I\u2019ve always gotten back up with the help of the Lord. We all sin\u2026we\u2019ve all made mistakes but thank goodness when we confess our sins Jesus is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness\u2026he helps us to live right before God and helps us to move on. The goal in a Christian\u2019s life should be, \u2018to be, transformed.\u2019<\/h6>\n<h6>I said that to say this\u2026sometimes no matter how hard you pray, no matter how much you cry, and beg God to help you\u2026sometimes you just wallow in self-pity\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I was thinking about how a pig loves to get in the mud and wallow\u2026for one thing they don\u2019t have sweat glands and so the mud keeps them cool and they like it. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1286 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/32605170-300x211.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/32605170-300x211.jpg 300w, https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/32605170-768x540.jpg 768w, https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/32605170-700x493.jpg 700w, https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/32605170.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/h6>\n<h6>Then I thought about how a horse will lie down in the dirt and thrash all around. A big horse wallowing in the dirt is a something to see\u2026it just simply feels good\u2026<\/h6>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1288 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/horse-in-dirt-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/horse-in-dirt-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/horse-in-dirt-700x467.jpg 700w, https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/horse-in-dirt.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<h6>Sometimes self-pity, just feels good\u2026it feels good to our emotions and to our flesh\u2026we can cry and lament and tell everyone who will listen how bad we\u2019ve got it\u2026and how miserable we feel\u2026we lie down in the dirt and wallow until our dirt bath covers every inch of us. But then we begin to stink\u2026and itch and it begins to hurt\u2026people see us coming and they run the other way\u2026they are tired of our wallowing and bellyaching\u2026no one wants to hear our drama over and over again\u2026especially if we aren\u2019t going to\u00a0change. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1289\" src=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/whine-300x210.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"210\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/whine-300x210.png 300w, https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/whine.png 420w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u00a0Even God doesn&#8217;t want to attend!<\/h6>\n<h6>When we realize our friends and family aren\u2019t going to listen to our pity-party any longer and we find ourselves all alone listening to our own mess\u2026we realize it\u2019s time for a real, bath\u2026a bath in the water of the Word\u2026and until we decide to get out of our flesh and self-pity we are going to be most miserable and stink to high heaven\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>So I\u2019m telling you all this for a reason\u2026as Christians we can\u2019t afford to keep taking those dirt baths\u2026time is short\u2026we have to step up and set a better example\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>We can\u2019t afford to live, life, like the world. Be in\u00a0the world\u00a0but not of it\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>We have to come up to a higher standard\u2026we\u2019ve been taught what to do\u2026we know the word of God and we are supposed to have a relationship with Jesus the King of Glory. There\u2019s no time for self-pity\u2026no more taking the milk of the word like immature babies\u2026we should be feasting on strong meat\u2026those who are mature and have been in the Church World for many years should know better\u2026People are watching\u2026unsaved people are watching and saying, \u201cIf they\u2019re Christians and live just like I do, why should I change? Why should I even think about becoming a Christian? They\u2019re no different than me.\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>If we say we love God but do not do,\u00a0what He asks us to do\u2026where is His love? If we are constantly complaining and whining\u2026where is His peace\u2026? It\u2019s time for a real bath\u2026not a sponge bath\u2026not a sprinkle\u2026we need to be submerged and use soap\u2026and get in all the crevices. Go to the well of forgiveness and wash in the waters of life!<\/h6>\n<h6>I\u2019m not saying this to cause condemnation\u2026I\u2019m saying it to cause conviction\u2026and repentance\u2026I\u2019m saying it because someone\u2019s got to set an example\u2026I\u2019m saying it because Jesus expects us to exhort one another in love and honesty\u2026so we will walk in His peace, free from self and anxiety which causes health issues and soul issues.<\/h6>\n<h6>I\u2019ll be the first one in line to say, <em>\u201cLord, I\u2019m sorry and I mean it. Lord, please forgive me for anything that does not line up with your expectations. Help me to walk like you walk. Help me to talk like you talk and think like you think. Lord, help me to set the example of your love and be sanctified by the renewing of my mind to put on the Lord Jesus Christ so that others will see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Amen. If I\u2019ve offended anyone please forgive me. If I\u2019ve been a stumbling block to anyone forgive me. If I have not pleased you Jesus, please forgive me. Let me live by faith and not by sight and Lord let my words and my heart and my actions line up with who you are. So that I will walk in integrity and in honor of whom you are so that I can come boldly before you to be clean and real before you, so that you will hear my prayers when I cry unto you, Abba and you will answer. Self-pity has to go in the name of Jesus. Help me to be quick to forgive and surrender to your will so that souls will see and know that I am not playing church and that they will see you, in me, Jesus. That you will be exalted, high and lifted up, I must decrease so that you will increase. Amen and Amen.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Lord let my heart be humble before you, let me not fall into the pitfalls of the enemy\u2026let my words be pure and true and bring honor and glory to your name. Let me walk as a daughter of the King, a servant to all people and never let me dishonor you Lord. No matter the peer pressure, no matter how difficult the trial or test\u2026Lord help me to remember I CAN DO ALL THINGS BECAUSE YOU, STRENGTHEN ME\u2026That the principalities and powers in high places will know, I am not one to get in a fight with, because I know in Whom I believe and that I am a child of the King of the Most High God\u2026and that Jesus has given me authority and has filled me with the Holy Spirit of Promise and that I am sealed by the blood of Jesus\u2026when I pray let it be in power and truth\u2026when I pray let me stand forgiven and sober with a sound mind and a willing heart\u2026so that I have my wits about me to cast out demons, heal the sick and Lord if it be your will, to raise the dead\u2026all for your glory\u2026most of all let me love as you love.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Let me never bring disgrace or dishonor to you Jesus\u2026I ask all this in your precious Holy Name\u2026SO BE IT!!!<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>~Marla Shaw O\u2019Neill August 7, 2017<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. <strong>John 15:3 King James Version (KJV)<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.<\/em><strong> <em>1 John 2:16 <\/em><em>King James Version (KJV)<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n<h6><em>The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;<\/em><em> idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.
