You\u2019re walking along life\u2019s road, holding the Masters hand. You\u2019re singing and skipping, you\u2019re happy without a care in the world\u2026<\/h6>\n
You wake each morning happy and content knowing your relationship with Jesus is awesome\u2026the Holy Spirit tells you some amazing things and you\u2019re thrilled at what you hear.<\/h6>\n
Then a few days go by and you don\u2019t hear His voice. You go about your day and you feel a little off. You\u2019re not as happy as you had been. You stopped singing and everything and everyone seems to be more difficult to deal with.<\/h6>\n
You become critical and irritable about everything. You try to pray but your hearts just not in it. Your spouse says something and before you know you are biting his head off. Then he bites back. Layer upon layer of dirt has begun to pile on top of your spirit and you just feel awful. You have no energy and you don\u2019t want to be around anyone.<\/h6>\n
Before you know it you\u2019ve isolated yourself. You see your Bible sitting on the table but you just don\u2019t want to read it. Then you realize something is terribly wrong.<\/h6>\n
But you don\u2019t know what\u2026<\/h6>\n
You pray, \u201cGod what is wrong with me?\u201d<\/h6>\n
You\u2019re buried in so much mud that you can hardly walk. You\u2019re shoulders slump and your face becomes weary and haggard.<\/h6>\n
But you\u2019re a Christian\u2026you know you\u2019re saved\u2026so why all this oppression and depression\u2026what is it?<\/h6>\n
Sunday comes around and you have thoughts of skipping the service and you think to yourself, I\u2019ll just stay home today I\u2019ll catch it online<\/em>\u2026<\/h6>\n
There\u2019s a tug at your heart\u2026 \u201cYou know you should go<\/em>\u2026\u201d Holy Spirit whispers.<\/h6>\n
Then your spouse says, \u201cYou know, we can still make it even if we\u2019re a little late. You wanna go?\u201d<\/h6>\n
Without hesitation you say, \u201cYes, let\u2019s go.\u201d<\/h6>\n
So you get to the Church no parking space available but it\u2019s OK we\u2019ll just go to the back lot. No big deal. You get in the Church it\u2019s packed. So you take a seat in the very back row. You hear one song, missed the worship, but it\u2019s OK.<\/h6>\n
Then the Pastor begins to speak\u2026He pours his heart out to everyone\u2026and at the end there is an altar call\u2026your heart is convicted so much that you feel like you want to be saved all over again\u2026but all you really need is a good bath in the Spirit\u2026so you pray and get clean\u2026you cry all the way out to your car\u2026still feeling the effects of the anointed message\u2026<\/h6>\n
And then the next morning\u2026you read some Psalms\u2026you pray in the Spirit and the breaking comes\u2026and God and you are one on one\u2026and you are on your knees asking him to forgive you and he does\u2026then he speaks\u2026and he says\u2026<\/h6>\n
I said I will never leave you and I never will\u2026those moments when you can\u2019t feel me or hear me it is because you\u2019ve let so much dirt pile up between us that you can\u2019t hear me. It\u2019s only when you humble yourself before me and ask to be washed and cleansed by my word that all the layers of dirt is gone and then your ears are clean, your heart is clean and you can hear my voice again\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
How awesome our Father God is, his mercy is from everlasting to everlasting\u2026<\/h6>\n
Do you need a bath? Are you oppressed and depressed? Are you irritable and angry? Are you tired and weary and worn out from the struggles of life? Maybe your layers have become mountains\u2026and you don\u2019t even know you\u2019re separated from your relationship with God. I\u2019m here to tell you if you are experiencing any of this\u2026get alone and pour your heart out to Him, he will listen and he will clean you up\u2026it only takes a tiny mustard seed of faith and those mountains will come tumbling down. Your strength will be restored, your joy and peace will return. You will jump and skip and run with new vitality because your relationship with the Lord will be restored.<\/h6>\n
Don\u2019t put it off\u2026Go pray right now\u2026God wants to have a conversation with you\u2026and you will feel so good after a good scrubbing\u2026be sure to get between your toes and behind your ears\u2026you don\u2019t want to leave one bit of dirt behind\u2026<\/h6>\n
Take a deep breath and be filled with new joy\u2026<\/h6>\n
The Joy of the LORD is your strength!<\/h6>\n
