I met a gentle man today. He was kind and had the most piercing eyes. He reminded me of someone I\u2019d met many years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat can I do for you sir? Are you here for the free food and more? We feed the homeless and shelter them, we also feed their soul.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYes, I know.\u201d Said the man. \u201cI\u2019m grateful for your service. It\u2019s not what you can do for me, you see, I\u2019ve been watching you for a very long time. I only came by to thank you. I want to thank you for accepting me and for all you\u2019ve done these fifty years. I\u2019ve seen you struggle; I\u2019ve seen your tears. I\u2019ve heard each and every prayer. I\u2019ve seen your humility as you have shared, my love, to all who\u2019d listen. Thank you for loving me and believing. Your journey is not yet over there\u2019s something I need you to do. Life is not easy but daughter, I promise you, the struggle will be worth every minute you\u2019ve given without complaint or, recompense.\u201d<\/p>\n
He smiled and I sensed he was no ordinary man.<\/p>\n
A light shined all around him. I couldn\u2019t believe what I was seeing. He grinned and then, he disappeared.<\/p>\n
Warmth filled my being. My strength was renewed. Joy flooded my heart and I sang and whistled a happy tune.<\/p>\n
Jesus, Oh sweet Jesus, what love you have for us all, when we open our hearts and accept your life changing call. Your love lifted me and forever set me free. Yes Lord, I know, it\u2019s worth it all.<\/em><\/p>\n Take my life and use it to bring you praise and glory.<\/em><\/p>\n Souls are perishing, lives are out of control. But Papa God you sent Jesus to rescue us for this sinful fall.<\/em><\/p>\n A gentle man came to visit me today.
