The ark of the LORD not seen for many years<\/h6>\n
Until David said, I will bring the ark home,<\/em><\/h6>\n
Home to the city of David.<\/em><\/h6>\n
The ark was set in a brand-new cart, not God\u2019s command at all\u2026<\/h6>\n
Oxen stumble the ark began to tumble.<\/h6>\n
Uzzah held out his hand\u2026<\/h6>\n
Pride and arrogance of the young priest provoked the anger of God.<\/h6>\n
Uzzah died right there and then\u2026<\/h6>\n
David, afraid and confused.<\/h6>\n
Why would he die? He only tried to keep the ark at ease\u2026<\/h6>\n
Seeing God\u2019s anger David did not continue to the journey\u2019s end\u2026<\/h6>\n
The ark was sent to Obed-Edom, a man whose heart rejoiced, no guile was found in him.<\/h6>\n
Although he was poor and his family too, God blessed him with favor and grace.<\/h6>\n
Three months passed; happy at last, David followed God\u2019s commands\u2026<\/h6>\n
Thirty thousand people all of Israel\u2019s tribe, shouted, and rejoiced upon their way.<\/h6>\n
The ark was going home\u2026<\/h6>\n
Instruments played, ram\u2019s horns blown, what a jubilant, wild display\u2026<\/h6>\n
Into the city of David, rejoicing as they went\u2026priest’s shoulders steady, and strong they were not bent.<\/h6>\n
God completely pleased with their obedience\u2026<\/h6>\n
David rejoiced at these new current events\u2026<\/h6>\n
Kill the fatted calf and bull, all for the glory of God!<\/h6>\n
No more to fear let all draw near, shout, and sing; rejoice!<\/h6>\n
Exchanging His robe of purple, to a simple linen one\u2026<\/h6>\n
David, danced before the LORD of hosts!<\/h6>\n
Leaping and twirling, in the bright sun light, dancing and jubilant, with all of his might\u2026heart full of joy, no pride or restraint\u2026<\/h6>\n
No care of what people might say or think\u2026<\/h6>\n
In the presence of Jesus, such exuberance displayed.<\/h6>\n
Join right in let the praises begin!<\/h6>\n
To laugh and breathe this precious gift\u2026<\/h6>\n
In the presence of God, over and over again and again\u2026<\/h6>\n
Rejoice all ye people dance before the king\u2026draw near, and shout\u2026open your hearts to worship and sing\u2026<\/h6>\n
The Ark is home again\u2026<\/h6>\n
David danced joyfully, with all of his might, before the King!<\/h6>\n
