{"id":281,"date":"2016-02-17T19:57:11","date_gmt":"2016-02-17T19:57:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mahh1954.wordpress.com\/?page_id=88"},"modified":"2023-01-26T14:29:20","modified_gmt":"2023-01-26T19:29:20","slug":"jesus-stood-still","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/index.php\/jesus-stood-still\/","title":{"rendered":"Jesus Stood Still"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-89\" src=\"https:\/\/mahh1954.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/02\/imageswrgl2mu8.jpg\" alt=\"imagesWRGL2MU8\" width=\"305\" height=\"221\" \/><\/h3>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Sitting by the wayside of a busy crowded street<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Two men, dirty, ragged, downcast and weak\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Unable to see with physical eyes, yet sensed the Lord, was passing by.<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Crying out they began to shout, \u201cHave mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David\u2026\u201d<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Not seeing they could see\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cHold your peace, you beggars, the Lord has no time for thee.\u201d<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">With nothing to lose they cried all the more\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cHave mercy on us, O Lord, son of David.\u201d<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">All of heaven watched the display\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Would two blind men be heard today?<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Then without a warning, the walking and talking ceased.<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Ears straining to hear, people begging to be healed, so much noise in the streets, what would He do, what will he say?<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">JESUS\u2026 STOOD&#8230; STILL\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Listening, He knew these two men recognized, without seeing they could see\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">The Lord was passing by\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cWhat shall I do for you today?\u201d Jesus waited for the men to reply\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Hearts stood in the balance\u2026as the multitudes held their breath\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">With confidence in who had asked, they spoke up without delay\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cThat our eyes may be opened, that\u2019s all we ask of thee.\u201d<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Jesus full of compassion granted their request immediately&#8230;<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Eyes healed, hearts set free, they followed gratefully\u2026<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Having eyes to see we may not see, but blind we recognize, who it is that\u2019s passing by\u2026 in the multitude today.<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Can you see?
