UNTIL

 

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:4

The tears keep falling…
Tears wash away the hurt…ease the pain.
Let me laugh and dream and live again…
Time goes by, mine stands still.
Loss and gain but longing until
I see you in the morning light.
I see you in the stars at night.
I sense your presence with me, seems right.
But you are gone from this life.
When will the hurt disappear?
Life never the same, let me draw near.
But you’re living in another place.
Oh, how I miss you, sweet mother dear…
God help me through this brokenness.
To set my heart and eyes on thee
Until, at last, I am set free…
To live and laugh and sing again, for all eternity…
Embraced within your love, Oh God,
This is my prayer to thee.
