What can this mean?
The whispers came…
Jesus to die in Jerusalem…?
He’s the one we’ve all heard about
Waited for; He is the Messiah…
Why would he die?
A Sabbath supper,
Washing our feet
There’s a traitor among us, but who?
WHO??
Which one can it be…?
Not I?
Is it me?
I’d die before letting them take him…
Once, twice, three times denied
Rooster crows…
A beating, crown of thorns, sent to the cross…
A mother weeps at the sight…
Scattered and afraid, men crying, such loss…
How? How can this be?
Hope, all hope is lost…
Buried in a tomb
Three days now…
Stone rolled away…
A woman met by a gardener
“Why seek ye the living among the dead?”
Is what he said…
Running to see…body is gone…
Soldiers frantically searching…
No trace of his body…
Seen on the way to Emmaus
Dinner down by the sea…
Wounds felt in his side, seen in his hands and his feet…
Forty days here after he’s risen, but before he leaves
A message to stay and wait
Wait in Jerusalem…
The comforter will come
Power and tongues of fire…
Then sent
Spreading the gospel throughout the world…
Changed, transformed…complete!
Be ready!
Coming again…
