Broken Beginnings

What picture will you paint? What story will you tell?
Life can be sweet, or, life can be hell…
Walking the road in torment from wounds that will not heal
Mowing down every person you meet by pushing them down the hill…
Living with bitterness is such a bitter pill.
Lies and deceit will keep you tangled and trapped until truth is but a fairytale
There is only one who can set you free…from sailing on this sea, of broken shattered dreams…
The unforgiving words you weave upon your tapestry…will keep you in darkness; they will never let you leave.
You will be lost and all alone…in a world where you don’t belong…
Open your heart and you will hear, the Redeemer sing, you a love song,
O my beloved, I’ve called to you for so long…no more tears, no more fears, I’ve come to show you the way home…my love will guide you in the darkest night…my light will lead you when you have no sight…my grace will sustain you when you fall down…come my treasure you are no longer bound…peace will be your fortress and joy will be your crown…
The wounds will heal, leaving only a scar, a remembrance of how, He brought you so far…
He is truth, and for the first time in your life…there are no lies, no deception, no strife…
The Holy Scrolls, unfold, before your hopeful eyes…bringing light to the darkness that will answer your whys…
Broken beginnings are no more…
Old things are passed away,
Behold, you are now adored,
A new beginning is given, because, you decided to follow the Lord!
Broken beginnings have been restored!

2 Corinthians 5:16-20 The Message (MSG)
Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
