Me

Hello, Me.
I think about you all the time
I, me, my and mine…
I want to have, I need to get, it’s me, me, me…
I’m talking about me, 24/7, and this is what I hear…
I’m tired, I’m lonely, I want some “me” time…
I have to do everything around here, I whine.
But what about, you, you, you?
I look in the mirror and what do I see? I see “Me” staring back at me!
Why don’t they talk to, me?
Why did they get the promotion? What’s wrong with me?
When my ship comes in, I’m leaving, and then, they can cry for me awhile…
It’s my job, my relationship, my car, my house, my money, my cat, my dog, my hair, my program, my workout, my time, my design, it’s all mine!
Why can’t they see it’s me, me, me…IT’S ALL ABOUT ME!!!
I have to do everything around here and I never get a thank you.
What would they do if they didn’t have me?
Have You, ever stopped to consider, that maybe if “Me,” were to think about “You,” that all that would be left for “Me,” to do, is to think about, “You?”
My mom used to say this to us, “If you want to have JOY…remember this…
J-Jesus First,
O-Others second and
Y-Yourself last!

Philippians 2:3-5 New International Version (NIV) Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
