The Promise

Sounds of quiet fill the room
Alone with the invisible ones who soon
Will take their que and fill the gloom…
With light so full and joy so free…
Souls of men, given to thee…
Laughter and singing and shouts of glee
The angel’s party, rejoicing in the heavenlies
Dance, they dance when they hear the news
Shouts like thunder triumphant and amused…
Humans say, yes, their hearts are true…
Bondage broken, curtain torn in two…
God sent Jesus to do this for you…
A Mighty Rushing Wind comes through the door,
Tongues set on fire…
Preaching begins…
Divers languages, over taking the crowd…
Satan loses…Jesus wins!!
Prophets speak out…
No fear, no doubt…
Holy Spirit promise, delivered and received
Faith is built, when you simply believe!
Faith will grow into a magnificent tree, started from a tiny seed.
Silence is heard in solitude’s domain…
Faith, Hope and Love will always remain.
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

 Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. John 14:15-17 New International Version (NIV)
And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:9-11 New International Version (NIV)

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
