Who Said You Can’t Walk on Water?

You can’t walk on water, that may be true, but I know someone who, did.
You can’t turn water into wine, but I know the one who said, “Come and dine.”
You see, He, Jesus, walked on water, turned the water into wine. He cast out demons and healed the blind. He called men to be fishers-of-men and He prayed and told the demons to go into the swine…
He broke chains of bondage, and mended broken hearts…Jesus the son of God said, “Greater works than these will you do.” But first you’ve got to make a new start.
He said speak to the mountain and it will have to leave, with just a mustard seed of faith, that’s all you need, to believe…
And with the words, It is written…Satan had to bow, He had no power any how…
Sneaking around in the desert to tempt the Lord…He was no match for Jesus,
Just a powerless wind was all, and nothing more…
God doesn’t want wimps in His army of love…God wants winner’s to serve and seek Him above…
Even if you have to walk on a frozen lake, God will freeze the water if that’s what it takes…walking on water is a piece of cake…when you put your trust in Jesus and let him take the first step…even when the storm rages he’ll be right there to help…
You think being meek is lame and weak…let me tell you something; hear me when I speak…
Facing giants, and lions, and fire, and foe…it takes more courage than the deceived will ever know…
Living with Jesus is the best thing you’ll ever do…
Come on now, you know it’s true…
The battle we’re fighting isn’t about red, white, or blue…it’s a fight with darkness where only you, walk in the Spirit with God whose true…
He’s right there in the lead…guiding and protecting you…
So come on Prayer Warrior’s take up your sword…
Keep moving knuckle-heads, let’s fight for the Lord!!!!
You’re in the Army now…there’s only one way to go…
Left, left, left-right-left…marching straight into the enemy’s camp…slaying the enemy who stands in the wake…adrenaline rushes as you begin to take, all those poor lost spoils…You are anointed with God’s Holy Oil…
Souls for the kingdom, from POW camps…they’ve been waiting and praying…burning their lamps…
Special Forces tested and tried, prepared and willing to die, if need be, in this spiritual fight…
So fight to the finish, we win you know…
Get up; Get going, this battle is fierce…
You’ve been equipped with the best and trained for the worst…
By faith and prayer you won’t need a hearse…For God has promised new life will emerge when souls surrender to the Holy Ghost…
Jesus is restoring all those, who’ve been held captive for so long…be fearless…victorious, be bold and be strong…
Faith Hope and Love your weapons of choice, in humility and perseverance… the enemy will fall…
Take up your cross; oh hear the call… be one of the few, to surrender your all…
Fight the good fight, let the enemy fall…
Taking back that what’s been stolen, weary soldiers who faced defeat…cries of Victory are being yelled in the street…
When at last we lay down our swords at His feet…
We’ll see the face of Jesus, the Son of God, we will meet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But until that day right here, right now, Jesus salutes, and says, “Good Job soldier!”
New soldiers recruited, rescued set free…a furlough in heaven beside the tree…as the angel’s, party, over one lost soul, banners flying everyone whole. What a sight to see…souls restored for the Army of God…Love, Hope and Peace these will never cease.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12King James Version (KJV)
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15:7 New International Version (NIV)

And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked. 2 Kings 6:17-22 New International Version (NIV)
Just because we can’t see into the invisible world…doesn’t mean it is not there or real!! Ask God to let you see with the eyes of the Spirit.
“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. Acts 2:17-18 New International Version (NIV)

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4

  1. Beautifully spoken! We are called to action, the army of God must keep marching on, constantly moving toward our goal: conquering ground that the enemy has stolen, restoring the lost and advancing the kingdom of our Lord and King of Kings. The enemy doesn’t rest, and neither should we! Thank you Marla, for putting it so beautifully together, for the reminder!

    1. Thank you Mary for your beautiful comment. You are such an example of the heart of the army of God…we will fight…not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Living God! Amen <3
