Solitary Heart-2016

Solitary she was…
An unaided relict…
Jesus, sat in the court of the women,
Seeing a heart and what she had given…
Sitting silently He watched,
The wealthy impart riches, they could afford…
Jesus took notice, not of them…
But that of a poor, forsaken, matron’s heart…
One eighth of a cent, not one, but two tiny coins, she gave…
The sacrifice of this solitary life is more honorable, than all the rest…
Unaware, the Master’s eyes upon her…she gave Him, her best!!!
And now, her story has been told, throughout the ages of time…
The widow woman, has found her place; a bride, at the savior’s side!
~Marla Shaw O’Neill – August 2016
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. Luke 21:1-4
(It was not considered an offering at the time to give just one coin.)
Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH, And rejoice before Him. A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.” Psalm 68:4-5

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
