There is a Time

 Life has many surprises
Lives come and go…
Sometimes welcomed
And sometimes full of woe…
But life keeps right on spinning…
Webs of timelessness
Where present days become ancient…
As time comes and goes…
You may be here today
But tomorrow no one knows…
Only in this moment will time bestow…
A moment in time we grow…
Where are you going? What seeds will you sow?
Are you surprised when someone dies?
Are you prepared to go?
Everything has a season…a time for every purpose under heaven.
And so,
When someone’s born and someone dies
When you plant your crop then its harvest time
With war comes death, afterwards healing begins
Time brings down and with it new buildings
Sometimes you cry and sometimes you laugh
Grieving for the night, but morning brings the dance
Take time to scatter stones and time to gather them
Embrace while you can, for soon you’ll turn away
Searching will happen, searching will end
Some things you’ll keep, sometimes you’ll throw away
Tearing begins and then there’s time to mend
Quiet time and time to speak
Loving time and time to hate
Time for war then time for peace
Will this cycle never cease?
God gave all but only a lease
Unless you are born of Him
Then eternally you will not decease…
Time will then increase.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8New Living Translation (NLT)
A Time for Everything
For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
